What to do

Sit together and look at the picture. Let your child lead — follow what they notice first.

You say it first (Copy + Add)

“I can see a path.”
“The path goes around the trees.”
“It bends and turns.”

👉 Then, depending on the age of your child, add one or more words:

“A long winding path.”
“A path going around the park.”
“A curvy, bendy path.”

💬 3 questions to build language

“What can you see?”
“Where does the path go?”
“Can you see where it turns?”

If no answer

That’s okay — keep modelling:
“It’s a path.”
“It goes around.”
“We can walk on it.”
